Good practice / spotlight item

Optimization of the public water supply system and promoting the rational use of water
More than 97% of drinking water meets the purity standards set by regulators but increased efforts are necessary to reach 100% and ensure that during times of water scarcity, the maximum amount of water that is designated for human consumption is safe. Furthermore, continued investments and improvements in the water network are required to prevent surges. The city is also actively working to improve communication and information sharing with citizens about the rational use of water and the recycling of the city's water supply to irrigate green public spaces, clean streets, etc.
