Description:

This project will bring together new and existing knowledge and experiences on how rural communities can better increase their capacity to make and implement adaptation decisions. Project products and services include:

  • Community climate change vulnerability assessments
  • Community climate change adaptation strategies
  • Climate change impact visualizations and communication tools
  • Real adaptations made by communities
  • Investigation, collation and communication of relevant information on potential direct and indirect impacts of climate change to small peripheral rural communities
  • Establishment of a formal mechanism and information platform to disseminate knowledge for community adaptation.
