Description

The main aim of the Roadmap (in national language, abstract in English) is to support the competent authority in Latvia – the Ministry of Environmental protection and regional development, Climate and environmental policy integration department - in the preparation of national policy planning documents for adaptation to climate change in the country. The Roadmap has been prepared within the frame of the project BaltClim by experts of Baltic Environmental Forum-Latvia in close cooperation with specialists at the Ministry starting from August 2012 until February 2013. It has been developed as a working document starting with identification of activities to be implemented, setting the time lines, responsibilities, further reviewing and updating the actions.
