DESCRIPTION:Die vom Erschöpfungskonsortium organisierte Konferenz (Exposu
 re to heat and air pollution in Europe\, cardiopulmonary impact and benefi
 ts of mitigation and adaptation) soll als interaktives Forum für den Aust
 ausch von Wissen über die damit zusammenhängenden gesundheitlichen Auswi
 rkungen des Klimawandels\, extremer Hitze und Luftverschmutzung dienen. Im
  Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung stehen insbesondere Erkenntnisse über die 
 Entwicklungen bei der Wärme- und Luftverschmutzung in Europa (einschließ
 lich durch Waldbrände) und ihre gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen\, die derze
 itige und künftige temperaturbedingte Gesundheitsbelastung in Europa und 
 die sozioökonomischen Kosten des Klimawandels und die Vorteile der Anpass
 ung an den Klimawandel und des Klimaschutzes.
