Climate Risk Planning & Managing Tool for development programmes in agri-food systems launched
The Climate Risk Planning & Managing Tool (CRISP) was launched during the Adaptation Futures Conference 2023. Eurac’s Research Center for Climate Change and Transformation, together with the Alliance for Biodiversity and CIAT, the Free University of Bolzano/Bozen and GIZ (German Development Cooperation), developed this interactive web-based tool to support and build capacities of agri-food development programs to integrate climate risks into their project design and implementation. The project was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Assess the maladaptation potential of your adaptation actions in 17 questions
The project REGILIENCE (Regional Pathways to Climate Resilience) has created a maladaptation self-assessment checklist for experts of regional authorities and consultants who are in charge of planning and implementing regional adaptation actions. The tool identifies potential risks for maladaptation and helps to avoid harm to livelihoods, ecosystems, and the economy.

New tool available to evaluate the quality of local adaptation plans
Researchers and academics from the Euro-LCP (Local Climate Planning) initiative have launched the Climate Change Adaptation Scoring Tool. Practitioners and researchers can use three adaptation plan quality assessment indices to evaluate the contents of plans based on six commonly-agreed principles of quality.

The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) has released its dashboard, mapping the insurance protection gap for natural disasters across Europe. The tool presents the drivers of the climate-related insurance protection gap. It aims to identify measures that will help reducing society’s losses in the event of natural catastrophes in Europe.

The 'G20 Climate Risks Atlas - Impacts, policy, economics', contains a series of Country Factsheets featuring maps and infographics which summarizes scientific projections of how climate impacts will play out in the top 20 world’s largest countries over the coming decades.

Making Copernicus Climate Change Data easily accessible through the European Climate Data Explorer
The European Climate Data Explorer, developed jointly by the Copernicus Climate Change Services (C3S) and the EEA, provides easy access to climate variables and climate impact indicators from the C3S Climate Data Store. It also enables zooming in on maps to focus on smaller regions of interest; it includes time series for specific regions, and users can export images and data. This new tool is intended to support European countries to develop and implement their national, subnational and local climate adaptation strategies. It will be expanded in the future with further indices, new data sources and additional functionalities.
