Peer-to-Peer learning on indicators and strategies for adaptation to climate change
In the framework of the EU project ENERGee Watch, partners are developing Peer-to-Peer learning courses targeted to local authorities, and local and regional energy and climate agencies. One course is dedicated to adaptation to climate change: climate change adaptation and assessment, methods and data for diagnosis, indicators and strategies, and guides participants in building their own roadmap to ensure that adaptation to climate change is integrated into energy-climate action plans. The courses will be held online in 2021 and 2022.

Recording of IPCC TG-Data Interactive Atlas Webinar with focus on Europe now available
The IPCC Task Group on Data Support for Climate Change Assessments (TG-Data) together with the Data Distribution Centre (DDC) organised webinar series focused on using IPCC Working Group I Interactive Atlas. On 18 March 2022 a training session webinar for Europe was held.

Turkey’s İklimIN project ready to start climate change training activities on local level across the country
Following an extensive Training Needs Analysis in its first year, the İklimIN project (Increased Public Understanding and Enhanced Stakeholder Capacity on the Required Joint Efforts on Climate Action) is starting to implement training activities on climate change actions and adaptation in 20 Turkish cities to groups of stakeholders, aiming at creating more awareness and a better engagement of climate change in the policy-making process.
