Climate change adaptation in Eurobarometer survey
A survey of the European Commission shows that many respondents see the EU authorities well prepared to respond to the increase in natural hazards as a result of climate change in Europe. Furthermore, respondents consider that coordinated EU preparedness and response should prioritise disasters related to climate change wildfires, floods and cyclones over medical emergencies, earthquakes and other types of disasters.

Survey to support climate adaptation in central Macedonia, Greece
This survey of the EU funded REGILIENCE (Regional Pathways to Climate Resilience) project aims to measure the level of awareness and participation of citizens in the Central Macedonia Region in Greece. It covers the effects of climate change and regional needs. The results contribute to the development of resilience actions in the region.

ASPECT survey to improve the usability of climate information for European organisations
The EU funded Horizon Europe ASPECT project aims to improve the provision of climate information for risk management and climate change adaptation. Professionals from all sectors and organisations of any size that are sensitive to climate or weather and who have either used or could potentially use weather/climate information are asked to fill in a 15 minute survey. The feedback will guide important advancements in European climate prediction research and services, enhancing the region's resilience to climate change.

IMPETUS project launches 7 regional surveys on climate change impacts and adaptation
The EU-funded IMPETUS project launched a survey, available in national languages, in order to inventory shaping climate change adaptations for long-lasting benefits in seven regional communities in Europe. Based on the survey responses, the partners will offer local citizens, businesses, and civil society representatives further opportunities to take part in project climate adaptation activities.

Europeans see climate change as top challenge for the EU
Nine out of 10 young Europeans agree that tackling climate change can help improve their own health and well-being, while 84% of those aged 55 or over agree. Almost every second European (49%) sees climate change as the main global challenge for the future of the EU, according to a special Eurobarometer on the Future of Europe.

A group of experts of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe prepared a survey for collection of information from transport professionals on climate change impacts, which the transport professionals may wish to understand better in the future. Survey launched on use of the C3S Climate Data Store
The Climate Adaptation Partnership under the Urban Agenda has developed a public survey. This survey has been set up to establish how cities and municipalities can effectively use the climate data made available via the Climate Data Store (CDS) of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) to develop their climate adaptation plans. Based on this survey, training sessions will be set up, tailored to the needs of cities.

Survey on Climate Services and User Needs launched
An online survey -open until 30 November 2018- on “Climate Services – User needs” has been launched, developed under the framework of the ERA4CS research project ECLISEA. Aim is to better understand the climate-information demand from a range of different stakeholders, countries and sectors, including the scientific community, the public decision-making, the private business, the civil society and individuals.

Feedback from cities sought by the EU Urban Agenda partnership on Climate Adaptation
The Partnership on Climate Adaptation seeks to identify challenges related to climate adaptation in the urban environment. Through a questionnaire, this Partnership would like to see how bottlenecks, related to the cities capacity to adapt to climate change, are according to other cities in Europe.
