The project investigated through case studies and statistical research the links between climate change, water and security in the Mediterranean, Middle-East and Sahel and .

The synthesis report "Climate Change, Water conflicts and Human Security" describes the results of the regional assessment of climate change impacts, vulnerabilities conflicts/cooperations and human security. Based on an analysis of the existing policy and institutional framework recommendations to policy makers at varoius levels and in a variety of policy areas were made to improve the adaptive capacity and to incease human security in the fae of climate change.
