Description

This report constitutes the draft final report on the study to investigate Member States' approaches to disaster prevention.The study was carried out in parallel to and close coordination with another study considering the Community Setting concerning prevention of natural and manmade disasters. The study has aimed to provide insights and an enhanced understanding of Member States' approaches to disaster prevention. Building upon this, the study provides conclusions and recommendations as regards the scope of a possible EU comprehensive intervention in the field of disaster prevention.
