Climate Risk Dashboard – PROVIDE

The PROVIDE climate risk dashboard is an interactive online tool providing detailed information on different future global warming scenarios and their expected impacts on climate, natural, and human systems. The data covers indicators related to climate variables, extreme events, ocean habitability at global scale, and urban heat stress at city level. It also includes state-of-the-art assessments of overshoot scenarios, in which global temperatures temporarily exceed the 1.5°C target of the Paris Agreement before being brought back down. Users can set risk thresholds, for example for heat stress in cities, and explore the emissions scenarios under which selected thresholds may be avoided or exceeded. Following the completion of the PROVIDE project, the tool is being transferred and updated under new ownership. While no additional data from the PROVIDE project is planned, future updates will include new datasets and indicators from other projects.
