The Operational Programme for the Development of Human Resources Plus (OPD+) contributes to the European Union’s 2021–2027 policy objectives aimed at creating a more social and inclusive Europe. The programme focuses on the development of four key human areas: education, social inclusion, social and child protection, and family and youth.
The objectives of the programme aim, among other things, to improve the effectiveness and labour market relevance of education and to reduce early school leaving. They also seek to promote social and economic inclusion, enhance the living conditions of people and communities at risk of poverty or social exclusion, and reduce social and territorial inequalities. Furthermore, the programme supports improved employment opportunities for women and better access to high-quality, sustainable, and affordable services, particularly in the sectors of social and child protection, childcare, and care services.
