Type of funding

Funding rate (percentage of covered costs)

The funding amount varies depending on the type and scale of the project:

  • Small-scale innovative projects can apply for the Budget Local Innovations (BLI), with a maximum subsidy of €50,000.
  • Medium-sized projects are eligible for the Subsidy Scheme Thematic Implementation Wadden Fund (STUW), offering up to €1,000,000 in funding.
  • Large-scale, multi-year projects may qualify for the Investment Framework Wadden Area (IKW), which provides subsidies starting from €500,000.
