Updated DIY Manual: Supporting Stakeholder Engagement in Climate Adaptation

The MIP4Adapt “Do-It-Yourself” (DIY) Manual has been updated and is now available in 24 languages! Designed for regional and local authorities, the manual helps identify participatory tools and activities for each stage of the Regional Adaptation Support Tool (RAST) cycle—supporting inclusive, locally owned adaptation plans.

Whether you’re new to citizen engagement or looking to strengthen existing practices, the manual offers practical guidance, tips and real-world examples to support climate adaptation planning. The April 2025 update includes new approaches for working with diverse stakeholders and fostering collaboration throughout the process.
