Description:
The International Sava River Basin Commission aimed to set up a pilot project to address issues of transboundary management of floods, taking into account the impacts of climate change under different scenarios and the perspective adaptation measures envisaged. The report has resulted in climatological and hydrological modelling for the Sava River Basin, vulnerability assessment, potential adaptation measures, a draft program for the development of a Flood Risk Management Plan in the Sava River Basin and a report on assessment of data and information needs for preparation of the Flood Risk Management Plan in the Sava River Basin.
