Description:

The project is implemented by the Baltic Environmental Forum (BEF) network and the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW) in close cooperation with the Baltic Ministries of Environment. The goals of BaltClim were the development of roadmaps which should lay down the way to the final adaptation strategy and which developed options for actions and demonstrated how to overcome barriers and obstacles. The roadmap define thematic priorities and first steps in Estonia and Latvia. During the course of the project, a national adaptation strategy was approved by the Lithuanian parliament.
