Climate Change Plan 2010, United Kingdom
Description
This Plan sets how the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra, a government department in the UK) will continue to deal with the challenges and opportunities of climate change. This includes adaptation – working with partners in Natural England, the Forestry Commission and the Environment Agency, and through a range of policies and practical steps. It explains what Defra is doing to support the country’s transition to a low-carbon economy, develop stronger scientific evidence, and develop better skills.
