National Adaptation Strategy - Ireland
Description
The Irish National Climate Change Strategy 2007 - 2012 sets out a range of measures, building on those already in place under the first National Climate Change Strategy (2000) to ensure Ireland reaches its target under the Kyoto Protocol. The Strategy mostly focuses on actions to reduce Ireland's greenhouse gas emissions, yet also contains a section on adaptation, which focuses mainly on water-related risks. A separate adaptation strategy is under development.
