The 9th edition of this conference will highlight the extensive ICP (International Co-operative Programme on Assessment and Monitoring of Air Pollution Effects on Forests) forests data series on forest growth, phenology, biodiversity, nutritional status of foliage and litter fall, ambient air quality, deposition, meteorology, soil and crown condition. Latest results and conclusions from local scale to European scale studies will be presented and discussed.

As part of the European Green Deal, the European Commission is currently preparing a new EU strategy on adaptation to climate change, which will work to identify and minimize the main risks, including to health. A public consultation on this strategy has recently been launched. This interactive webinar, host by the EU Health Policy Platform, will present the EU’s work in this field. Leading experts from the European Commission’s public health and climate directorates, the European Environmental Agency, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control and the Commission’s Joint Research Centre will take part.
