PLACARD project finished: more coherence between climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction
Learning to deal with extremes: climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction communities can share experiences and knowledge for better collaboration and coherence. That is what the PLACARD platform did in the past years. Being confronted with the COVID-19 extreme, the project succeeded in adapting our final conference to an online version. The materials are accessible on the website and can further play a role in on-going dialogues.

Climate Thursdays: new webinar series on climate services & innovation, initiated by the CLARA project
The EU CLARA project in collaboration with Climateurope and other climate projects, have designed a webinar series on climate services and climate-related innovations, taking place as side events to Climateurope webstivals over the Summer 2020. The first event will take place on 25 June and is about 'Climate services for water resource management'; the 2nd: 'Ex-ante impact assessment of the new EU Adaptation Strategy' on 2 June; and the third one will take place on 9 July with the subject: 'Climate services in my region'.
