Bergenmeersen Controlled Flood Area
The Bergenmeersen CFA during the 5-6 December 2013 storm. The CFAs and depoldered areas absorbed storm surge waters. Together with dikes and other defences, these areas protected cities and towns in the Scheldt Estuary. Source: www.sigmaplan.be
