Join us for an interactive and engaging matchmaking event to encourage collaboration among regions, local authorities, and research and innovation stakeholders. Our goal is to facilitate the creation of partnerships that will draft compelling project proposals for the 2024 call of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.
This event focuses on demonstration projects that often include a wide range of actors. These include:
- HORIZON-MISS-2024-CLIMA-01-06: Demonstration of approaches to improve bankability of solutions by design, addressing the co-benefits (mitigation and adaptation) to improve revenues streams.
- HORIZON-MISS-2024-CLIMA-01-07: Demonstration of solutions specifically suited to rural areas and small/ medium size population local communities.
- HORIZON-MISS-2024-CLIMA-01-08: Demonstration of approaches by regions and local authorities focused on increasing climate resilience of the most vulnerable social groups (just climate resilience).
- HORIZON-MISS-2024-CLIMA-01-09: Systemic and cross-sectoral solutions for climate resilience, tailored to the local needs of regions and local authorities.
Attendees will engage in breakout sessions, designed to empower regions to present their climate adaptation challenges and seek out-of-the-box solutions. Meanwhile, R&I actors will have the opportunity to scout for suitable demonstration sites, fostering a synergy that sparks innovation. Expect to explore potential partnerships, cultivating leader-follower dynamics within projects.
