Under the changing climate, high temperatures increasingly affect our health and wellbeing. Developed under the European Climate and Health Observatory initiative, the new European Environment Agency briefing ‘Monitoring heat impacts on health in Europe’ explores to what extent deaths and illnesses related to heat are monitored and addressed through heat-health action plans in European countries.

This webinar, organised jointly by the European Commission and the European Environment Agency, will provide you with the briefing’s key findings, and with insights into related science, policy and practice responses and developments from the expert panel. You will also have the opportunity to discuss ways of minimising heat-related health threats through better surveillance and adaptive actions in health sector and other policy areas.
