Citizen science is a form of scientific research that involves the participation of ordinary people, or non-professional scientists, in the gathering and analysis of data. This can be a helpful tool to support monitoring and evaluation of several actions implemented under our adaptation plan.
In this session, Luciana Favaro (from EuCliPa.IT) will present the Citizens' climate observatory in Venice, and Anna Verones and François Jost (from ECSA) will share their experience in the co-design process in the AGORA project and the concept of citizen science. The session also will include a hands-on exercise to better understand the involvement of citizens and stakeholders in the process.
