Objective of the funding programme

The ais scheme provides financial support to businesses that have incurred losses as a direct consequence of a recognized natural disaster in Luxembourg. The aim is to assist in recovery and rebuilding efforts by covering costs related to the damages suffered.

Priority areas for the programme are:

  • Disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Support for SMEs affected by natural disasters
  • Enhancement of resilience in disaster-prone areas

Type of funding

Repayable advance

Funding rate (percentage of covered costs)

The amount of aid is not limited.
The value of material loss is based on repair costs or the commercial value of the item prior to the disaster. It does not exceed the repair costs or the decrease in commercial value due to the disaster.
