LAWPRO’s Catchment Support Fund aims to build the capacity of catchment partnerships to support the delivery of the third-cycle River Basin Management Plan by providing grants for core operational costs.
A key element of the fund is to foster stronger local partnerships by supporting and developing organisations that provide vital water quality services to communities and advance the objectives of the River Basin Management Plan.

Funding rate (percentage of covered costs)
Under the fund, organisations are invited to apply for financial assistance to support Strand 1 organisational costs, including statutory and/or legal fees, insurance related to catchment management, accountancy fees, annual website support, promotional materials, and group development activities.
Organisations with Company Limited by Guarantee status and a proven track record with LAWPRO are also eligible to apply for Strand 2 capacity costs, which can include funding for staff costs, rent, and rates.
