The Interreg VI-A Czech Republic–Poland 2021–2027 programme aims to enhance the quality of life and economic development of cross-border communities by fostering cooperation between regions in both countries. The programme focuses on addressing shared challenges and opportunities, with a strong emphasis on sustainable development, environmental protection, and resilience to climate change.
Under Priority 1, the programme targets two key objectives:
Objective 1.1: Increased preparedness and cross-border capacity to cope with risks and disasters in the Czech–Polish border area related to climate change.
Objective 1.2: A more coordinated approach to environmental protection in the Czech–Polish border area.
