Objective of the funding programme

The European Local Energy Assistance (ELENA) is a joint initiative by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Commission. It provides technical assistance grants to public authorities and private entities to support energy efficiency and renewable energy investments, particularly in buildings and innovative urban transport projects. These efforts contribute to achieving the EU’s climate and energy goals while helping to reduce the impacts of climate change.
