Objective of the funding programme

The programme’s strategic objective is to achieve sustainable development through smart, green, and socially innovative projects that support three EU policy objectives: Smarter Europe, Greener Europe, and More Social Europe. The programme is aligned with the European Green Plan and the United Nations Programme on Sustainable Development until 2030, as well as the European Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) and the European Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region (EUSAIR).
