Objective of the funding programme

The primary objective of the funding programme is to assist municipalities engaged in development policy in creating and implementing local solutions to global challenges, in alignment with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, alongside their partner municipalities. The programme focuses on climate change adaptation and building adaptive capacity, with priorities in climate change mitigation, adaptation, mainstreaming, and capacity building.
