Objective of the funding programme

The European Funds for Lubuskie programme is an opportunity to support thousands of investments aimed at improving the quality of life for residents. A total of EUR 915 million is available to fund infrastructure, business, scientific, health, socio-educational, and labour market development projects across the Lubuskie region.

Priority 2 – Climate Change Adaptation:

  • Type I: Adaptation of urban areas to climate change – implementation of measures for cities not supported at the national level.
  • Type II: Development of climate change adaptation plans.
  • Type III: Construction, reconstruction, or renovation of water facilities and associated infrastructure to mitigate the effects of floods or droughts. These are projects of regional and local significance based on the needs of territorial self-governments.
  • Type IV: Support for small-scale water retention (including rainwater and snowmelt management and the development of blue-green infrastructure) – targeting projects implemented by entities not subordinated to or supervised by the central administration.
  • Type V: Education on climate change and water resource protection (also eligible as part of Type I–IV projects).
