Objective of the funding programme

The main objective of the programme is to implement new solutions to improve the efficiency of water use and management in Poland.

Specific objectives:

  • Increase water retention and improve water quality, using the principles of sustainable development and sustainable water and sewage management.

  • Implement new research methods, observations, and tools to support monitoring and assessment of the condition of water ecosystems and water-dependent ecosystems.

  • Increase the use of existing waterways for inland navigation.
