The Integrated Operational Programme for Transport Plus (ICSP Plus) aims to invest in rail, road, cycling, and ports in Hungary. Taking into account the country’s transport situation, the constraints of the Cohesion Fund and the European Regional Development Fund, and other EU principles (such as no double funding and no prohibited state aid), the programme plans interventions across the following priority axes:
Strengthening clean urban and suburban transport, including the procurement of electric buses and the development of high-traffic suburban rail lines.
TEN-T rail and regional intermodal transport development, encompassing TEN-T rail lines and ports.
Promoting more sustainable and safer road mobility, including EuroVelo cycle paths, road safety measures, and other investments such as noise barriers.
