Objective of the funding programme

The Operational Programme for Environment and Energy Efficiency Plus (KEHOP Plus) provides support to address challenges arising from climate change, such as flooding, inland water issues, droughts, and the overuse of natural resources.

Building on and complementing the environmental operational programme of the previous period, KEHOP, KEHOP Plus has been expanded in several new directions, taking into account emerging environmental challenges, evolving regulatory frameworks, and increasing efforts to promote sustainability. It seeks to reduce pollution and the overexploitation of resources, safeguard biodiversity, and foster long-term sustainability.
