Getting Started

Are you a regional or local authority seeking practical guidance on how to develop, implement or evaluate your plan(s) for adapting to climate change?

The Regional Adaptation Support Tool (RAST) provides guidance on each of the six main steps that you need to consider during the adaptation planning process. In its design, the RAST is based on the Adaptation Support Tool and the Urban Adaptation Support Tool.

Along the way, the RAST introduces the relevant sources of data, further guidance, and tools that you may find useful. It will be updated periodically in response to new research findings and feedback from regional and local authorities, and to take account of latest developments and information available.
