Climate change is already disrupting lives, economies and ecosystems across Europe – from deadly heatwaves to rising food insecurity and infrastructure damage. The European Commission is developing a new framework to strengthen climate resilience and better manage climate risks, building on the 2021 EU Adaptation Strategy.

This framework will tackle key barriers such as lack of awareness, insufficient funding, weak governance, and fragmented regulation. It will guide action at EU, national and local levels to protect people, secure prosperity, and foster innovation in sectors from health and agriculture to infrastructure and insurance.

🗣️ Your voice matters – take part in the Call for Evidence!
We are inviting stakeholders from all sectors – public authorities, businesses, researchers, NGOs and citizens – to share their views and experience. Your input will help shape future EU policies: from risk disclosure and investment incentives to climate-proofing infrastructure and essential services.

Feedback is open in all EU languages and is part of a broader consultation that feeds into the impact assessment.
