Climate adaptation is a cornerstone of the European Union’s response to the escalating impacts of climate change. To drive this agenda forward, Horizon Europe’s Cluster 5 Destination 1 supports a diverse set of research and innovation projects aimed at advancing adaptation science and action across regions, sectors and levels of governance. A factsheet presents a synthesis of 18 EU-funded projects that are generating actionable knowledge, innovative tools and policy-relevant solutions to strengthen climate resilience in Europe and beyond.
