A Policy Brief of The Cyprus Institute, explains that only 30% of the necessary investments in Cyprus are actually planned for climate change adaptation, such as the rehabilitation of infrastructure and compensation for natural disasters. In addition to the economic impacts, unmitigated climate change will undermine social justice since Cyprus is expected to be among the countries with the most severe impacts on vulnerable households.
