A report from the German Environmental Agency (UBA) shows how vocational training can contribute to the implementation of climate change adaptation measures and how relevant skills can be anchored in the vocational training system in Germany. Using the professions of roofer, environmental technologist for water supply and wastewater management and landscape architects, the report analyses which climate adaptation skills are already being taught and which will be required in the future. The report concludes with recommendations for action to better anchor climate adaptation in vocational education and training.
