TRANSCEND Horizon project is developing serious games as a key tool to support exploration and decision-making under uncertainty in the seven river basins involved in the project. Serious games combine elements of games, such as roles and rules, with scientific models and real-world data. The principles behind TRANSCEND serious games, the methodology and the interactive platform to create them and play are freely accessible.
