Building Urban Resilience with Nature - A practitioner’s guide to action

This report focuses on examples that local stakeholders can follow to increase the natural infrastructure in their cities and make them more resilient to the challenges brought on by urbanization, globalization, and climate change. It provides simple, consistent vocabulary and messaging to help practitioners better communicate the value of natural infrastructure, as well as to help them share important data and build alliances. This report and the included case studies from cities highlight that incorporating more nature into the local infrastructure helps in mitigating and adapting to various shocks and stresses.
