This is a guiding handbook resulting from the Rotterdam Network Exchange event, in the frame of 100 Resilient Cities programme, and focuses on water-related urban adaptation. The handbook offers:

  • Shared tactical apporaches and tools: 8 key lessons around project ideation, design and implementation. Each lesson is supported by practical tactics and case studies.
  • Market needs for resilience tools: signalling what kind of tools and services need to be created or upscaled to meet the resilient water agenda.
  • Extensive background material, including expert presentations.

Representatives from the cities of Rotterdam, Bangkok, Berkeley, Mexco City, New Orleans, Norfolk, Rome, Surat, Vejle convened in Rotterdam for a Network Exchange on multi-benefit solutions to water management.
