European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (2013)

The European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA) 2013 was an initiative of a number of major European research projects. It was the first European conference covering the broad range of issues related to climate change adaptation and following international conferences in Australia (Gold Coast, Queensland) in 2010 and in the United States (Tucson, Arizona) in 2012. The conference placed a greater emphasis on understanding and assessing adaptation in action under the theme integrating climate into action. It is possible to download all the presentations given during the conference.

The second biennial European Climate Change Adaptation Conference was hosted in Copenhagen in 2015.  The theme of ECCA 2017 is ‘Our Climate Ready Future’ and it is going to be hosted in Glasgow.
