Promoting water efficiency and supporting the shift towards a climate resilient agriculture in Mediterranean countries (LIFE AgroClimaWater)

Description:

The LIFE AgroClimaWater project aims to promote water efficiency and support the shift towards climate resilient agriculture in three Farmers’ Organizations (FORs) located in Crete, Greece (Platanias and Mirabello) and in Basilicata, Italy (Metapontino). Water Management Adaptation Strategies will be developed and implemented at FORs level in order to increase water efficiency in the cultivation of perennial crops and establish pilot farms adapted to water scarcity.
