Description

The declaration of the Ministers on climate change arised in the context of the IXth Alpine Conference and initiated the Action Plan on Climate Change in the Alps. The main concern recognized by the declaration is that global climate change particularly affects the Alpine space. In order to avoid a further progressive climate change, the document includes recommendations for adaptation and a couple of long-term initiatives.
