Description

The report is the contribution of Working Group II of the IPCC to the Fifth Assessment Report (AR5). It has been written by 308 authors from 70 countries supported by an extensive review process.

It considers the vulnerability and exposure of human and natural systems, the observed impacts and future risks of climate change, and the potential for and limits to adaptation. Furthermore it assesses risks and opportunities for societies, economies and ecosystems around the world.

It consists of part A (Global and Sectoral impacts; chapter 1 to 20) and part B (regional aspects; chapter 21-30) as well as of a Summary for Policymakers.
