Public health and climate change adaptation policies in the European Union

Description

The publication is based on desk review (e.g. 7^th National Communications to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)) and a survey with country representatives from the health and environment sectors as well as two workshops held in 2017. Additionally a review of past trends and future projections of selected weather- and climate-related hazards is available. A number of good practice case studies showcase the progress and effort in adaptation of the health sector.
