This includes the climate crisis which is the single biggest health threat facing humanity. The climate crisis is also a health crisis.

The European Commission organises a public online event for the launch of the Destination Earth, together with the European Centre for Medium-range Forecasts (ECMWF), the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT), and with the implementing entities. Destination Earth (DestinE) aims to develop a highly accurate digital model of the Earth to monitor and predict the interaction between natural phenomena and human activities including climate change adaptation.
