Description

Het belangrijkste doel van het oLIVE-CLIMA-project is het bevorderen van de invoering van nieuwe teeltmethoden voor boomgewassen als een kosteneffectieve manier om de klimaatverandering te beperken en zich eraan aan te passen. Olijfproducerende gebieden in Griekenland zullen worden geselecteerd om hun potentieel te onderzoeken om de koolstofvastlegging door de bodem te verhogen, de broeikasgasemissies te verminderen en drie verschillende sociaaleconomische situaties te testen die momenteel op Griekse landbouwbedrijven voorkomen: van meer traditionele landbouw tot innovatieve milieubewuste landbouw.
