Description

Het LIFE AgroClimaWater-project heeft tot doel de waterefficiëntie te bevorderen en de verschuiving naar klimaatbestendige landbouw te ondersteunen in drie landbouworganisaties (FOR’s) op Kreta, Griekenland (Platanias en Mirabello) en in Basilicata, Italië (Metapontino). Op FOR-niveau zullen aanpassingsstrategieën voor waterbeheer worden ontwikkeld en uitgevoerd om de waterefficiëntie bij de teelt van meerjarige gewassen te verhogen en proefboerderijen op te zetten die zijn aangepast aan waterschaarste.
