CLINF studerar särskilt sådana klimatförändringseffekter på nordliga djurhållningshushåll mot bakgrund av socioekonomiska förhållanden och ledningsförhållanden.

Att omvandla ny kunskap om klimatförändringarnas effekter på den geografiska spridningen och epidemiologin av klimatkänsliga infektioner till praktiska verktyg för beslutsfattare som ansvarar för utvecklingen av nordliga samhällen, både genom att tillhandahålla relevanta data i en tillgänglig form och genom att utveckla ett system för tidig varning för klimatkänsliga infektioner på lokal nivå.
